Welcome to Serenity and Strength Ltd. We are committed to providing a supportive and respectful environment for all our members. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations and responsibilities of our members to ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone.
General Conduct
Respect and Courtesy:
Members must treat each other, trainers, and staff with respect and courtesy at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Members must clean equipment after use and return all weights and accessories to their designated places.
Personal belongings should be stored in lockers provided, and members must ensure the premises are kept clean and tidy.
Punctuality:
Members must vacate the premises at the allotted time to ensure fair access for all.
Punctuality is expected for all booked sessions and classes.
Facility Usage
Booking and Access:
All facility bookings must be made through our online calendar system. Members should adhere to their booked times.
Open access slots and private hires must be respected, and all attendees must be registered members.
Use of Facilities:
Members are expected to use only the areas that are booked by and available to them at the time.
Any damage to equipment or facilities must be reported immediately to staff.
Conflict Resolution:
In case of conflicts over space or equipment usage, members should first discuss the issue with the other party involved.
If the issue is not resolved or the member is uncomfortable, they should email the company. The company will address the issue without disclosing the complainant’s details.
If the conflict persists, members should complete a 1- or 2-star review. The company will manage the situation accordingly.
Member Interaction
Polite and Respectful Communication:
Members must be polite and respectful in all communications and interactions within the gym and on the networking platform.
Unsolicited contact for purposes other than related to Serenity and Strength facilities is not permitted.
IT Infrastructure
Online Conduct:
Members must use the online platform for its intended purposes: networking, booking classes, and accessing gym-related information.
Inappropriate content, spam, or misuse of the platform will result in disciplinary action.
Message Usage:
All messaging systems and interactive features are subject to this Code of Conduct. Messages should be used as intended and not for unsolicited contact unrelated to Serenity and Strength facilities.
Privacy and Security:
Members may make their profiles private and opt out of networking if they do not want unsolicited contacts.
CCTV footage is stored offsite and will be used to investigate any necessary circumstances. This data will be provided to authorities if required.
Review System
Review Guidelines:
Reviews should be honest and respectful. Members should follow the star rating guidelines:
1 Star: Serious indiscretion (email details to Reviews@serenityandstrength.co.uk)
2 Stars: Indiscretion or unacceptable behaviour (email details to Reviews@serenityandstrength.co.uk)
3 Stars: No issues or concerns
4 Stars: Good behaviour, friendly, respectful, and supportive
5 Stars: Exemplary support, knowledge, and motivation (Gym Bro)
Verification of Reviews:
1- and 2-star reviews require an email with dates and times of incidents. If not provided, or if the accused member is not responsible, the negative review will be deleted.
If the accused member makes a representation that the company accepts, the negative review will be removed.
False or misleading reviews will be removed, and the responsible individual will receive a 1- or 2-star review from the company.
Disputing Reviews:
Members can email the company to communicate their concerns about a review for consideration and investigation if necessary.
Member Responsibilities
Profile Maintenance:
Members must keep their profiles up to date, including identification and proof of address, to ensure safety and appropriate class allocations.
Adherence to Policies:
Members are expected to adhere to all policies and guidelines set forth by Serenity and Strength Ltd. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.
Reporting and Feedback
Incident Reporting:
Members are encouraged to report any incidents or concerns to staff or via the provided email (Reviews@serenityandstrength.co.uk).
All reports will be handled with confidentiality and addressed promptly.
Continuous Improvement:
Serenity and Strength Ltd. values feedback and encourages members to provide suggestions for improving our services and facilities.
